Black Dial Omega Olympic Collection Watches

To celebrate the Sochi sports event, Omega Olympic Collection watches are launched to show respect for Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games. Omega went to Russian Federation in February of 2014 in order to provide designated chronograph service for Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games and Paralympic Winter Games, which was Omega’s 26th service for Olympic Winter Games. Besides, the Omega expected that the Olympic Winter Games could fully inherit the tradition and culture to show the spirit of modern Russia.

The special Omega Olympic Collection watches adopt matte black dial, and the hour markers are shown with stripes and Arabic numerals of 6, 9 and 12 o’clock, which are covered with white luminous coating so that they can shine blue light to make reading clear and legible in the dark environment as well as rhodanizing hour and second hands. However, the minute hand and dot at 12 o’clock of the bezel shine green light, which makes the reading easy when diving. Classically, the watches are equipped with central hour, minute and second hand, and the position of 3 o’clock is set with a date window, so they are practical.

The watches are made of stainless steel case with 45.5 mm in diameter that is frosted and polished, and they are matched with bracelet with the same material. Moreover, the watches adopt matte black ceramic bezels that can be rotated unidirectionally, which are carved with chromium nitride diving scales. Especially, on the bezel, there is a dot at 12 o’clock, bright blue-painted scales from one to five minute and bright red-painted scales from six to ten minute, and the design inspiration is from the national flag’s colors of Russian Federation. According to the design of Seamaster 600 meters watches, scales from eleven to fifteen minute are shown with bright silver painting on the bezel.

Uniquely, the case backs of top Omega watches are engraved with Olympic emblem of “Sochi 2014”, letters of “Si14” and limited edition number of 0000/2014, which make them valuable and meaningful.
