Mysterious Cheetahs Of Cartier



To Cartier, cheetahs are not the fierce killers that hide in the virgin forest, but mysterious items in the Cartier world, so high jewelry, luxury watches and accessories all adopt mysterious cheetahs. 
 Rare people know that the mysterious and attractive cheetahs in the senior Cartier jewelry initially appear on the luxury Cartier watches. In the 1820s, the ArtDeco trend was very popular, and the ArtDeco’s classic elements of black and white art, geometric figure, radioactive sunray patterns and so on became popular, while black and white leopard print patterns became the best inspiration origin of decoration for Cartier. In 1933, Jeanne Toussaint became the chief inspector of Cartier high jewelry. Because she loved cheetahs so much that all of her coats, cosmetic boxes, cartridges, and cigarette cases were decorated with cheetahs. In 1948, Jeanne Toussaint sold the first cheetah breastpin to the Duchess of Windsor, which opened a new world that cheetahs were introduced into the Cartier's world with vigor and vitality. And in 1949, the second cheetah breastpin was designed for the Duchess of Windsor, which was decorated with diamonds and sapphires. After that, cheetahs have played a very important role in the Cartier world.

Owing to the unique design of Jeanne Toussaint, the cheetahs have become legends in Cartier, and women are fond of cheetah Cartier items very much, which makes the cheetahs very successful and important for Cartier.
